Connection Setup
Use the built-in VDSL modem for NBN FTTN or FTTB. For FTTP, FTTC, HFC or Fixed Wireless, connect the Ethernet WAN port to the NBN connection equipment. Keep any required NBN equipment in place.
Carbon NBN Plans, ABB Direct NBN Plans and OptiComm use IPoE (Automatic IP / DHCP). Neoloop uses PPPoE with the username and password emailed on activation. A Static IP service does not mean you should enter a manual WAN address.

Good to Know
This is a 4G LTE model, not a 5G gateway. Mobile backup is not a bundled mobile plan: SIM compatibility, coverage, APN configuration and mobile charges must be confirmed with the service provider.
The Ethernet ports are Gigabit, so they cannot carry a full multi-gigabit internet connection. Specifications shown are for the manufacturer’s NL20MESH-01 Australian support model.
Advertised wireless figures are theoretical radio rates, not guaranteed internet or single-device speeds. Actual performance depends on the service, connected devices, placement, interference and building materials. Satellites and voice or mobile services are separate unless explicitly included in your order.
