Information about the service
Your device
You may bring your own compatible device with this plan, or may purchase an eligible device from us.
Important: You must make sure your device is compatible, or it may not be able to make calls, including calls to emergency services.
No Excess Data Charges In Australia
Once you reach your included data allowance limit, your data usage will stop. It will refresh from the 28th of the month.
Plan Speeds
Speeds may vary due to factors such as location, distance from the base station, local conditions, concurrent users, hardware and software configuration and download/upload destination.
What happens if I cancel my plan early?
These plans are month-to-month. If you cancel before the end of the monthly billing cycle, where charges and inclusions are metered from 28th to 27th of each month, you will forfeit any remaining credit, and any monies paid for said month will also be forfeit.
Changes to your plan
From time to time we may make changes to your plan or add-ons (including price and inclusions), or we may move you to a new plan (which may cost more). If we reasonably think that a change is likely to be detrimental to you, we'll tell you at least 30 days before making it. If you don't like the change you can change or cancel your plan or add-ons.
What happens if I go overseas?
If you are moving your existing service and it currently has International Roaming blocked this will continue to apply on your new Plan, otherwise, International Roaming are activated by default on your plan and is chargeable. You can deactivate this by calling us between 9am-5pm AEST Monday to Friday on 1800 10 10 50 from within Australia free of charge from your Carbon Comms service.
Calls/SMS/MMS/Data Usage will be charged at International Roaming rates
Bill payment charges
Fees and charges may apply for bill delivery and payment of your invoice, depending on the method.

Understanding your bill
When you start or change your plan part way through a billing period, your first bill will have part month charges plus the next full month charges.
How can I monitor and manage my usage?
You receive SMS alerts in near real-time when you reach 50%, 85% and 100% of your Monthly Data allowance.
To check your usage: send a text containing the word "Bal" (without the quote marks) to the number 179. You'll receive a return SMS will your current data usage balance.
FairPlay Policy
You must comply with our FairPlay Policy and not use your service in an unacceptable, unreasonable or fraudulent manner, or in a way that detrimentally interferes with the integrity of, or causes significant congestion to, the network. We may take action if you breach the FairPlay Policy, including suspending or cancelling your service.
