At Carbon Comms, all NBN services operate using IPoE (IP over Ethernet) — also referred to as Dynamic IP or Automatic IP.

Our network configuration allows your modem or router to automatically obtain an IP address and connect to the internet without requiring any manual authentication setup.

Please note:

• Carbon Comms does not use PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet).
  
• No username or password is required for authentication.
  
• This configuration ensures a simple, secure, and seamless plug-and-play experience across all supported NBN technologies.
